Hi and welcome to Published Authors, the fundraising division of Applegate Education Pty Ltd. In addition to Published Authors, we also operate:

• Bindaree Publishing that specialises in producing quality educational publications for around 50,000 Australian primary, secondary and TAFE students each year; and
• Applegate Press that specialises in providing personalised printing services to Australian schools and TAFE colleges (coming soon in 2010).

Across all our businesses, our focus is always on:

• EXPERIENCE: Through our various publishing related businesses, we have established a solid reputation for delivering quality publications to Australian schools. We also supply publications to students in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and most recently the United Arab Emirates. We also work extremely closely with our three award-winning printers in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne to ensure all our books are printed to the highest standard and at the best price to you.
• NO UPFRONT COSTS: Other cookbook suppliers require upfront payments of up to $550 for their fundraising Step-By-Step kits (which can be in addition to the cost of the final printed books). These upfront costs are also non-refundable if you decide not to proceed with your cookbook project. We require NO upfront costs.
• WE GENERATE LARGE PROFITS FOR YOU: Our cookbooks have the potential to generate excellent fundraising profits for your school or community group of up to 100 % and often more.
• VOGUE-STYLE LOOK: What makes family cookbooks so special is the people who contribute to them, the stories they share and the warmth of their recipes. However, we also believe that cookbook should look pretty special as well. That’s why we have compiled an extensive portfolio of designer quality food images that you can use for the front cover and chapter pages of your fundraising cookbook. We also go that little bit further, by including a Foreword page, Imperial / Metric conversion tables, and various recipe templates that all enable the contributors to share why their recipe is so special to them and their family.
• OUR UNIQUE WEB-BASED PROCESS FOR LODGING RECIPES: No other cookbook supplier offers this latest technology for submitting recipes. By allowing individuals to submit their recipes on-line via our website:
• It eliminates all work needed by staff and the fundraising coordinator to distribute templates and then collect, collate, and then post the often crumpled recipes to us. This alone can save you hours if not days of work;
• It eliminates the need for volunteers to type up hand written recipes;
• It dramatically improves upon the approach used by other cookbook providers who often just scan the submitted printed recipes into the cookbooks, complete with noticeable faults such as smudges, varying formats, spelling mistakes & typos.
• We can quickly compile and sort the recipes submitted to our website, correct the often numerous typos and spelling mistakes, ensure all recipes are displayed using a consistent format, and then collate all recipes into a high quality professionally published cookbook.
